Animate pitch of music/sound in LibGDX

I noticed that the Sound.class in libgdx has a pitch method, but the Music.class doesn't. I want to animate the pitch of my looping music using Tweens, and dont know how to do it with a Sound, since it requires the soundId. I was wondering if there is a way of modifying the source code of the Music.class to support pitch changing for both, iOS and Android, or animate a looping sounds pitch using Tweens.
