How do I use the sound extension on Netlogo?

My final project partner and I are aiming to make a rhythm-based game on Netlogo, so we need to use the sound extension. The problem is that whenever I try to play a WAV file using sound:play-sound-and-wait "[insert-song-here]" (and yes, extensions [sound] is on the top of my code), the song does not play. I did save my Netlogo file in a folder with my song in WAV format. Am I doing something wrong?
