Get list of installed Audio drivers or devices using Javascript or jQuery plugin

I am working on a single page HTML5 web application, to playback Audio samples using HTML5 Audio element. There is a need to check for available/ installed Audio driver(s) or device(s) prior to playing an audio file, something similar to getCameraList() method useful in retrieving list of available cameras plugged into the machine.

I need your guidance, in retrieving the list of installed Audio drivers or devices in a client machine using JavaScript or a jQuery plugin will be helpful.
