How to play sound on website whenever specific tweet is made?

I am working on a project with a personal website. I need to figure out how to have my website play a sound by detecting whenever a tweet with a specific hashtag is used. Is this possible? If so, what tools should I go about using to implement it?

I have what I would describe as novice experience with programming websites to use javascript or similar. I would be interested in being pointed towards a good tutorial on how to use javascript along with a Twitter API to achieve what I am looking for.
